In case you haven't figured out what lesson it is that Assahola Khatami wants to teach the protesters, it's this; "Don't question your government or your government will KILL you".

"I want the judiciary to ... punish leading rioters firmly and without showing any mercy to teach everyone a lesson," Iranian senior hard-line cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami told worshippers at Tehran University.
